This is due to staff members adjusting topics taught to support pupils/ classes who have been affected by Covid this academic year. The children designed their own investigation on shadows in our light topic. We looked at how shadows changed throughout the day!
Developing Scientific Enquiry
At The Pochin School, we understand the importance of developing scientific enquiry. We want our children to ask questions and be inquisitive about the world around them. In our Science lessons, we aim to include a range of practical activities.
For our topic on rocks, the children tested permeability and durability of rocks as well as made their own fossils and compost bins – look at the wiggly worms!
