Hello and welcome to the PTA page of the school website, and we would love you to join us in our mission to raise valuable funds together for the benefit of all of our children.
All parents, guardians and teachers of children at the Pochin School are automatically members of the PTA. It’s not just the committee but all of us working together to make things happen.
The current PTA was elected in September 2015 and we hold friendly and informal meetings regularly approximately once a month during term time. We hold our Annual General Meeting in September. We always advertise the meetings on our notice board in the playground and on our Facebook page. All are invited to attend the meetings and we always welcome and encourage new people to come along to see what we are trying to achieve, what exciting things we have planned, and of course to hear and share new ideas!
The PTA is your chance to be involved in helping to raise funds to enhance your child’s school life. The money that is raised is then used to benefit all the children in the school in various ways, from author workshops, purchasing new class books, poetry workshops, punctuation shows, interactive animal demonstrations, new playground equipment, climbing wall, and ice-creams at the Christmas panto! – these are to name just a few.
