Physical Education

The Pochin School provides many opportunities for children to develop their physical and mental education. This is provided through high quality physical activities, residential trips, day trips, clubs and the opportunity to participate in school sports. Physical Education empowers children to develop a broad range of skills, grow in confidence, knowledge and mental wellbeing.  Every Physical Education lesson gives all children the opportunity to develop their physical and mental skills, whilst taking part in a wide range of sport topic areas.

Our curriculum allows for the development of fundamental skills that are transferred to different sports and activities, leading to greater mastery of skills and knowledge, which is built upon every year.

The Pochin School aims to help pupils overcome their fears and develop resilience and the ability to see tasks through to the end when faced with challenging physical and mental tasks, that develop qualities and attributes that will support children in all areas of life!
