Homework
Homework this term is designed to:
- support your child’s learning in class;
- give them the opportunities to go over and revisit passed taught topics;
- improve their speed of processing skills and quick mental recall;
- increase their opportunities to read for pleasure, which improves speed of reading, sight vocabulary, spelling recall and help enhances creative writing and knowledge of the world.
Homework to be completed weekly:
- Reading 5 times a week and complete reading diary
- Spellings
- Times Tables using TT Rock Stars
- Maths consolidation activity
- Grammar and Punctuation consolidation activity
- Reading comprehension acitivty
