Sports Day 2022
We were fortunate to have glorious weather for our sports day. Everyone enjoyed the events and Year 6 supported the younger children brilliantly!

Today, the children in one our enjoyed taking part in archery by making up the teams of ‘Min Y Don Hunters’, ‘Awesome Archers’ and Miss Evans as ‘Pochin Hood!’ The other group became secret agents in their group and had to solve a variety of problem solving activities! After a delicious home-cooked meal of cottage pie, we head out in to the grounds to play ‘Smugglers’ – the police a.k.a. the teachers were victorious!
Today, we are off trail biking, climbing and abseiling! Then, after lunch we are becoming Min Y Don Investigators and heading off on a walk to Arthog Waterfalls and Cregennan Lakes – watch this space for photos later . . . internet connection dependent!
We are in for another fun day! We’ll start the morning with trail biking, climbing and abseiling (the one we didn’t do yesterday!) In the afternoon, it’s time for archery, MYD Agents, kayaking and the high ropes course!
Today, it’s time for Bushcraft all together for the morning session and then we’ll the low ropes course, high ropes course and kayaking if we didn’t get to do it yesterday!
Here are a few more from our afternoon activities! We have had some issues with internet and corrupted files – Mrs Lane and Miss Evans have learnt not to zoom in! The website only allows so many pixels!
It’s our final day and before we set off on the long journey home, we will be taking part in a whole group orienteering activity. Fingers crossed you’ll be able to see all the photos from the week over the weekend!
